No Goals, No Problem: No Goals for Odion Ighalo, as Watford loose at home to Man City

Odion Ighalo

Haba nah!!! Give this guy a break joor. Must he score in a every match to prove he's the best attacker for Watford and Nigeria have got? This was a remark I got from one of my
friend after Odion Ighalo's Watford lost 1-2 at home to visiting Manchester City and I tend to agree with him. Quick goals from Kun Aguero and fellow African Ivory Coast's Yaya Toure did just the damage and denied them three points in front of their fans.

Mtcheeeew, What is there to loose? Since, I am a lover of good football, I was happy that Aguero and Yaya Toure (a.k.a) "Onye Nzoputa" got on the scoresheet at least to keep Manchester city in title race as the EPL to provide us with a healthy competition.

Although poor Ighalo could have done better in the first to keep his shot a little bit down from just inside the box  but it was superbly saved by Man City Keeper. Watford's next match is away to Southampton and hopefully we shall get to see the young man do what he knows best (banging in goals).

This is what I am actually advocating for in Nigeria. Our Nigeria Professional Football league  must be made to become a healthy competition and appealing to watch. With good match officiating, teams who play good football should be able get an away win whenever they deserved or merited it. Workshop seminar should be organized for local club Coaches and they should be able to learn tactical and technical part of football not "toom toom toom" or "push and run" as we always see.
