COD United FC ready for new 2015/2016 NNL season, presents squad and coaches (Photos)

This is amazing to me how this kind of international club actually exists in Nigeria but are yet to be playing in the Nigeria Professional Football League. So watch out for them in NPFL next season..

This club established in 2007  started from the City of David parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Lagos, Nigeria. In May 2013, COD became the youngest team to win the Lagos State FA Cup.

CUFC ( nicknamed 'The White Lions') is the only club that in Nigeria that runs a structure of 6 football teams; U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16, U-21, and First team. A Technical Director oversees the entire football structure while the various have designated coaches.

Paulo Jorge Silva (a German-Portuguese) is the current Head Coach of the first team is responsible for the training, selection of players as well as overall results of the first team.

C.O.D United's first team will campaign in the Nigerian National League (NNL) hoping to gain promotion to the NPFL while its teams in the academy will campaign in various cup competitions. Its female team, C.O.D Ladies will defend their Lagos FA Cup title and also campaign in the female professional league. Altogether, with its 143 players, C.O.D United teams are planned to play 240 matches in 2016.

I must say that this club is one to watch for and is fast on a rise. I am seriously impressed
