LMC fines Giwa FC 6.7 million Naira, banishes them to Ilorin for their next three home matches


Aftermath of the game against Enugu Rangers FC which was abandoned due to crowd violence, the League Management Company (LMC) incharge of running the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) has taken a decision to banish Giwa FC to Ilorin,
Kwara state capital and has also being fined of 6.7 million Naira.

The LMC issued Giwa FC with a Summary Jurisdiction Notice containing six separate breaches of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Framework and Rules and accordingly sanctioned the club on each count while the club’s Media Officer, David King was fined N100, 000 for breach of Clauses 1.1 and 1.5 of the code of conduct for club officials

The game against Rangers FC which was not concluded is set to be replayed in Abuja.
