Aboubakar’s late Strike helps Cameroon beat Egypt 2-1 to win AFCON Cup for the Fifth Time

Written Off as "The worst Cameroon team" in living memory, Or at least that’s what they were three and a half weeks ago, but the span of a tournament can be an awfully long time in
football as Cameroon came from behind to defeat Seven-time winners Egypt 2-1 in the 2017 AFCON Final held in Gabon on Sunday night 5th February 2017.

Goals from Nicolas N'Koulou and Vincent Aboubakar’s 88th minute late strike was worthy enough to see the Indomitable Lions tame the Pharaohs of Egypt to win their fifth African Nations Cup Title

Eight players had withdrawn from the squad while the determination of their coach, Hugo Broos, to impose discipline had led to other established names being dropped.
